Teacher – Inclusive Practices

At St Ursula’s College, we have a strong commitment to providing effective educational outcomes for all students. Inclusive Education plays an integral role in providing opportunities for success. With the understanding that supporting teachers is vital to supporting students, we are looking to expand our Inclusive Education Team in 2024 to create a sustainable, supportive inclusive environment for all students and staff to reach their successes.

Applications are sought from Teachers qualified in Inclusive Education to support our classroom teachers to build their knowledge and understanding of instructional strategies and pedagogical approaches that are responsive to student diversity. You will assist teachers to plan and enact strategies aimed at improving student access, participation and progress.

Relief Teaching

St Ursula’s College is always receptive to applications from qualified teachers interested in relief work or short-term contracts. Please see the below information under ‘How To Apply’ to correctly submit your application.

How To Apply

When applying for a position at St Ursula’s College, your application should include the following documentation:

  • a covering letter;
  • the Application for Employment;
  • a document containing written responses to the Selection Criteria (if requested);
  • a Curriculum Vitae outlining qualifications and experience with the position as advertised; and
  • the names and contact details of three professional referees;

N.B. Teaching positions should include your current Principal as a referee. Non-Teaching positions should include your current Manager/Supervisor as a referee.

Applications are to reach the College by 4pm on the specified closing date. Should your application be shortlisted, you will be asked to provide the following documentation at the time of interview:

  • Teaching – Certified copies of Qualifications and Certified copy of Teacher Registration.
  • Non-Teaching – Certified copies of Qualifications, Current Blue Card, and First Aid (if required for position).
